This programme is designed to work with individuals who have been affected by domestic abuse. It helps identify how abusive, controlling relationships, affect every element of life. It helps to reeducate so that those who have suffered any type of abuse, will no long believe they are to blame.
It is important to know that there are a number of aspects of domestic abuse and that it is not just abuse that is physical. It can be sexual, psychological, emotional and financial abuse. Coercive control is also classed as domestic abuse. This is a pattern of intimidation, degradation, isolation and control with the use or threat of physical or sexual violence.
